Introducing the Awa Throw – Natural / Black! Named after the Awa people of the lush rainforests in northwestern Ecuador and neighboring Colombia, this throw is a scaled-down version of our classic Awa Blanket – Natural / Black, now featuring charming tassels.
Perfectly sized for any adventure, from summer and fall picnics to cozy autumn fireside evenings, this versatile throw is ideal for stargazing or enhancing your home decor. Keep it in your car for spontaneous picnics or drape it over your sofa for a vibrant accent.
Ethically made by Indigenous artisans from Ecuador, each throw reflects respect for artisanal skills and the rich Andean heritage, showcasing our commitment to sustainable and meaningful partnerships.

Returns:
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, you must reside in the contiguous United States and your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it, including any complimentary items that Beyond Borders Collective included with your purchase.

To return your item(s) please email info@beyondborderscollective.com with your order number, what item(s) you’re returning, and a reason for the return.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded or exchanged.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged within the United States. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@beyondborderscollective.com with your order number, what item(s) you’re wishing to exchange, and a reason for the exchange. For international returns or exchanges please email directly to info@beyondborderscollective.com for further assistance.
Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost you incurred on shipping the returned item will not be included in the refund. You will only receive a refund amount of the difference taken from the shipping cost of the original order and what you paid for the product.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
Consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Import duties, taxes, and brokerage fees are not included in the product price or shipping and handling cost. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility as we are only charging the transportation/shipping fee for your order. By placing an international order (shipping outside of the United States of America) the buyer is responsible for abiding by their country’s laws, regulations, and restrictions. If product is seized and destroyed by customs, we will NOT be responsible for the losses, product, or shipping refunds.
